Welcome to Benalmadena, the center of the Costa del Sol. Benalmádena has five different neighborhoods: Benalmádena Pueblo, Arroyo de la Miel, Benalmádena Costa, Torremuelle and Torrequebrada.
In Benalmádena Costa adjacent to the beautiful harbor Puerto Marina there are fine sandy beaches, windier days very popular with wave surfers. Otherwise, the municipality also has several rocky beaches with smaller private bays. A total of 17 different beaches on 20 kilometers of coastline, suitable for both fishing and snorkelling. Here is also the oldest nude beach on the Costa del Sol! During 2017-2018, construction will begin with a joint beach walk to Fuengirola, which will make the beach walk of then a total of 18 kilometers the longest in Spain!

In Torrequebrada is a famous casino and also one of the coast's first golf courses, considered one of the best in Europe. Puerto Marina has been voted the best marina in the world on two occasions and offers, in addition to moorings, also apartments in modern architecture as well as cozy shopping, restaurants, cafes and a number of very popular bars, for many the best nightlife in this part of the Costa del Sol. Benalmádena borders Fuengirola and Torremolinos and has around 66,000 inhabitants of mixed nationalities.
Benalmadena has a total of three stops for the commuter train that takes you either south towards Fuengirola or towards the airport and the center of Malaga. In Arroyo de la Miel there are several fun family attractions such as Tivoli World, the Selwo Marina dolphinarium, the Parque de Paloma park and southern Spain's only ice rink. A little further up from the coast towards the mountains lies the beautiful charming Andalusian village of Benalmádena Pueblo with its winding little lanes decorated with flowers, picturesque squares and a wide range of tapas bars and restaurants.
